Squirrel Buster Peanut Feeder

The Squirrel Buster family uses technology extensively tested in the garden and has proved to be 100% effective in the battle against squirrels.

The Squirrel Buster Range has a chew proof design, with a patented squirrel blocking shroud and a ventilation system, to keep the contents fresh. Each feeder is tough, reliable and easy to refill and clean.

Ideal for all your garden birds including woodpeckers, just set the spring tensioner according to the birds you would like to include.

The weight activated control, at the base of the feeder, is set at the factory to support birds weighing upto 2.5oz/70g. It will fully close at 6oz/170g, shutting out the squirrels and larger birds. The spring tension may vary depending on outside temperature.

Siting and Positioning:
Remember the squirrel`s weight triggers the closing mechanism, so position the feeder with a clearance of 18 inch (46cm). If a squirrel can reach across from a neaby foothold and avoid putting its weight on the feeder, it will be able to access the peanuts. By allowing an 18 inch clearance you force the squirrel to climb onto the feeder itself, which will then trigger the closing mechanism and prevent access to food.

Cleaning:
The feeder is designed to be easily cleaned. All the components can be dismantled by hand, so no need for special tools. Comprehensive instructions for dismantling and assembling the feeder are found in the instruction booklet or by visiting the Brome Website.
