Our Harlech Woodstone Bat Box is an attractive bat box that can accommodate up to 15 common pipistrelle bats. It is made of black woodstone that absorbs natural heat, providing excellent insulation for summer roosting.

Siting

The box can be attached to either a wall or a tree and should be sited at a height of at least 3 metres from the ground. Bats prefer to change roosts to benefit from varying temperature, so the boxes should ideally be installed in small groups.
